Description
This musical game helps children develop listening skills, recognize various musical characteristics, and express their emotions and impressions of what they have heard. During the game, children listen to various musical pieces and, using magnetic cards with symbols and pictures, describe the mood, tempo, volume, pitch, and instruments of the music. It promotes not only musical perception, but also language development, communication, and creativity.
The colorful poster is divided into zones, where each color corresponds to a specific musical characteristic or emotion:
- blue – musical character and emotions (happy, sad, scary, calm, encourages dancing);
- green – voice or instruments (children, women, men, musical instruments);
- yellow – intensity (loud or quiet);
- orange – tempo (fast or slow);
- purple – pitch (low or high);
- pink – personal opinion (like or dislike).
The images encourage children to talk about what they have heard, share impressions, and cooperate with others. They can also be used in children's own musical activities – song creation or playing simple instruments.
The classical and world music pieces included in the set help get to know different cultures and musical styles. Each piece is specially chosen to highlight a specific musical characteristic and hold children's attention.
