SIA “Zingelis” is implementing project No. DIMI/2025/1069, under which the new online shop 8kajis.lv was developed.
Project aim
To move the 8kājis online shop from Shopify to WordPress/WooCommerce and digitalise the sales process from choosing a product to payment and delivery, as well as requests for out-of-stock products and bookings for the Bimini sensory room.
Results
- The new online shop has been running at https://8kajis.lv since 1 October 2026.
- Orders can be placed online: choose a product and a delivery method, then pay by bank link, payment card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- The shop serves customers in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in three languages.
- The company manages its products, prices and availability itself.
- The sales process is measurable: the company can see which products customers view, add to the cart and buy.
Funding
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under measure 1.2.2.1 "Support for the digitalisation of business processes" of specific support objective 1.2.2 "Reaping the benefits of digitalisation for business development" of the European Union Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027. Support is provided by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).
