How does a visit to the Sensory Room work?

The visit must be registered electronically in the Sensory Room registration system in advance. Choose the most convenient for you from the available times, make a reservation and we will wait for you in the Sensory Room at the specified time!

We will be waiting for you at the „Bimini” sensory room at Nākotnes iela 2, Ķekava.

Please arrive approximately 5 minutes before the start of the reserved session, so that the visit can start slowly and at the scheduled time.

Payment for the visit is made on the spot - with a payment card or in cash.

40 minutes in the Sensory Room

The total duration of the session is 40 minutes.

You will be greeted at the beginning of the session Bimini the assistant who will bring you into the room will briefly introduce its equipment and capabilities, as well as tell you everything you need to make you feel safe and comfortable in the room.

You will then be able to enjoy the environment of the Sensory Room on your own using its equipment and devote the rest of the session to peace, relaxation and sensory experience.

These 40 minutes are your time - without rush and everyday noise.

Do you want specialist support?

A visit to the Sensory Room with a functional therapist is also available.

In this case, the functional therapist will be with you during the session and will help you use the possibilities of the Sensory Room according to the individual needs of the visitor.

In order for the therapist to be able to prepare for the session and adjust its progress to the specific visitor, this service requires prior application.

When applying, it will be necessary to provide the therapist with information about the visitor, his state of health, individual needs and other relevant circumstances (anamnesis) that must be taken into account during the session.

Bimini is located Nākotnes iela 2, Ķekava, about a 20-minute drive from the center of Riga. Working hours: weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., visit by appointment.

How much does it cost to visit the sensory room?

One session lasts 40 minutes. It costs 18 per child EUR, for an adult 20 EUR, for senior over 65 years old 15 EUR, but for an adult companion 5 EUR. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs 40 EUR, for two adults and three children 55 EUR, but each additional child 12 EUR. A visit with a functional therapist costs 35 EUR. Payment is made on the spot - with a payment card or in cash.
